About Us.
Hi, we’re Natalie & Corbin and we love cracking cold ones. We’re so excited to serve up delicious drinks to all of you at events across Manitoba!
We started thinking about building a mobile bar in the Summer of 2024. We searched high and low for the most unique bar option that felt most like “us”. We scrolled countless buy and sell sites for a few months before we stumbled upon our little camper and it just seemed like it was meant to be. (The exterior colors were even our wedding colors!)
We’re a perfect team, as Corbin brings the renovation and construction knowledge, as well as many years of experience in front of the bar. Natalie on the other hand, has a background in marketing and many years of experience behind the bar.
Enough about us, let’s start planning your event!
The HISTORY.
Here’s the history of our little 1961 Forester 14ft.
While there isn’t much info on the web for these vintage campers, we know from doing some detective work and cleaning of the frame, that our Forester camper was produced in March of 1961.
Early Forester travel trailers (1959-1968) kept the classic canned ham shape. They are one of the last small trailer manufacturers to keep this classic shape through the 60’s.
Our model is actually sort of unique in the sense that Forester didn’t build very many models with a “Front Kitchen.” In fact, that model wasn’t even advertised back in the day. We’re told from the Forester enthusiast Facebook Group that our camper would get lots of attention at a Forester rally in the states!
We were able to date our trailer back to the early 60’s not only by the numbers on the frame, but also by some of the unique features such as the original stove, canvas sling bed, hand pump style faucet, the straight handled door lock, and the quilted pattern of the exterior door.
HISTORY REimagined.
We spent an entire Winter renovating this 1961 beauty. And while there were some hiccups along the way, we love the way it turned out! We decided to keep some original features, like the upper and lower cupboards, copper handles and hinges, scalloped trim, and the classic Forester logo, but we wanted to give it a modern twist.
The camper features everything you might need to pull off an excellent cocktail or mocktail bar. An extended bar top, fridge, storage space, sink, and plenty of room for coolers to keep your drinks ice cold. PLUS bartenders to keep the party going!
